Planning & Zoning
In order for the City to accept your plans it must have all the necessary paperwork, including utility "will serve" letters if not serviced by the City of Farmersville. Please refer to the application and checklists for all necessary paperwork required.
The City has filing and application requirements for each of the following development activities:
Annexation - Request to be included inside the city limits of the City of Farmersville
Subdivision (PDF)- Application to subdivide property or plat property prior to development inside the city limits or the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ). A 30 day waiver must be included with application.
Variances (PDF) - Application to change specific zoning requirements that are not caused by a self-inflicted hardship on the property.
Zoning (PDF) - Application to request or change the zoning of a property.
Specific Use Permit (PDF) - Application to allow a Specific Use in a zoning district.
Site Plan (PDF) - Application to allow for a specific site to be developed.
